mosaïque city - English

The future, which I barely grabbed in my hands is also a fake
I am now searching for the answer I want in the memories scattered on the asphalt
If I protrude myself naked, I could fly high
But the reason tangled on my dominant arm is disturbing me to do so

This is the cheap and common dejavu which comes every time I get awake
I see anything as unreality even though I can touch it

If we blend ourselves into the streets with mosaic applied
Our shadows with their outline fuzzed will emerge
The hesitating hearts - cannot go back - do not want to go back
We are just believing there will be something at the end of the pedestrian bridge we are crossing

Involved into the traffic jam, our tomorrow is lost again
When we are pretending ourselves as victims, the clock is also working
We are having a gamble with ourselves, which does not even mean one or eight, or six(★),
Taking a risk that things will end with ourselves being too depressed to care about other people

This is the dried, wore away reality that blows through the skyscrapers
Even the wounds are getting wet by the tears, it is becoming none of our business

If we blend ourselves into the monochrome streets
The radio waves will be broken, and our voice will be erased immediately
The stained wishes - cannot sleep - do not want to sleep
We are just believing there will be something at the end of the dead-end we are crossing

If we blend ourselves into the streets with mosaic applied
Our shadows with their outline fuzzed will emerge
The hesitating hearts - cannot go back - do not want to go back
This is the last signal
This broken world will never be normal again even if we try to reset it in fear

★ "one or eight, or six": Original lyrics is "イチかバチかロクでもない" - It contains two Japanese phrases, "一か八か" (One or eight) which means "Take a chance" and "ロクでもない" (It's also not six) which means something is boring and nothing. Maya mixed these two together because they both contain numbers (1, 8 and 6)
