Weekly summary of LM.C ☆ 1/1/2018 ☆ #10

Happy new year everyone! Hoping all of you are having a nice beginning of the year we would like to bring our first summary of this 2018! (And also the first in english)

Since the last of November and mostly of December, aiji has been constantly sharing news about the band, this info is about the new works they’ve been talking about some time ago.

 And by his comments, we can see that aiji is super excited not only about the production but the composition. He told us that the feeling that inspired the new work is similar to the one that inspired the previous album.
He said he felt like something woke up with VEDA and still keeps inspired his work

He also said that he has been recording with Michitaro Shimamoto, a Japanese composer, bassist and producer who has worked with different recognized bands in the country (you can check here his web page) . In his tweets, he also shared a photo of the guitar with which he was recording.

On December 23, however, aiji deviated a bit from the subject to announce on his twitter that the year seemed to be ending well since he had discovered a new "treasure", which seems to be some salty cookies (isn’t it adorable?)

 This Christmass, he didn’t only wish us happy holidays, but also told us that he had gone to the temple to get amulets for home and study (which appears in a magazine where several renowned musicians share the place where they carry out their work.)

 And also for this end of the year, our guitarist wishes us a happy new year, sharing other traditions of the end of the year that he has: (cleaning his altar (?) And traveling to a new temple (?))

According to what he told us, the recordings of the year 2017 ended on December 26. Aiji seemed satisfied with the pace at which they had advanced, we hope to have news soon!


In other news related to the band the designer who worked at VEDA shared some images of the guys with the respective style on their Instagram account.

This year, is the shonen JUMP 50th anniversary so to commemorate that date. A compilation album will be released on January 10th. Due to the fact that LM.C did two songs for the anime “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!”, one of them (Boys and girls, the second opening) they will appear in the compilation .
